How to Make an Eggnog Coffee

Eggnog coffee is a delicious drink suitable for the holiday season. It's simple to make and requires only a few ingredients. This version makes around 4 servings.


  • 1 and 1/3 cups of eggnog
  • 2 and 2/3 cups of brewed coffee (strong is best)
  • Whipped cream
  • Nutmeg (optional but fairly essential for that eggnog flavor)

    Pour the eggnog into the saucepan.

    Heat over medium heat until warmed up. However, do not boil.

    Pour in the coffee. Stir to mix in. Allow to warm. Once again, do not boil.

    Transfer the mixture to mugs or cups.

    Add a dollop of whipped cream to the top of each drink. Sprinkle with nutmeg to complete (optional).


  • The whipped cream can be left out if preferred.
