How to Make an Easy Soy Frappucino

Ever want to make a lactose free iced coffee or frappuccino at home? Soy milk is full of antioxidants, is cholesterol free, and tastes great. Even for those that can tolerate dairy, trying soy milk in a blended beverage like this one is one way to reap its heart healthy benefits. This is also an affordable alternative to more costly coffee-shop beverages.

Ingredients

  • 1 & 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee crystals
  • 1 tsp sugar or sugar substitute
  • 2 tbsp Hershey's syrup
  • 3/4 cup ice

Steps

    Add items in the order above to the blender.

    Add lid to blender and pulse on high (or if it has an ice-crush setting, use this).

    Blend until ice is crushed and fully blended (approximately 20 seconds).

Tips

  • If in the mood for a sweeter beverage, try Silk's "very vanilla".
