How to Make a Witch's Brew Drink for a Halloween Party
If there are any adults at your Halloween party, and you want them to have something that isn't too babyish, then follow this recipe to give them an awesome drink.
Ingredients
- Blue food dye
- Red food dye
- Lemonade
- White wine (apple juice for under 18s)
- Cherries
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Gummy worms
Steps
- 1Put on the gloves and apron.
- 2Put a cherry in the bottom of the glass (for the eye of newt).
- 3Put a gummy worm at the bottom of the glass (for the snake).
- 4Fill the glass halfway with white wine.
- 5Fill the other half of the glass with lemonade.
- 6Add three drops of red food colouring to the drink.
- 7Add three drops of blue food colouring to the drink. It should turn purple.
- 8Squirt some whipped cream on the top (optional).
- 9Add a straw and a sparkler (optional).

Tips
- For more unusual colours, buy yellow. You can make all three secondary colours then.
- For a non-alcoholic version (for under 18s), use apple juice instead of white wine.
- Food dye may stain clothes (and lips). Take this into consideration when planning your party.
