How to Make a Spam and Cheese Sandwich

Craving a sandwich, but don't want an ordinary bologna on bread? Just follow these steps for a great sandwich!


  • 2 slices of Hormel Spam
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese
  • 2 pieces of bread
  • Spreads, such as mayonnaise or mustard (Optional)

    Gather all of your ingredients and things you'll need (see below).

    Open your can of Hormel Spam.

    Turn it upside-down on your plate to empty the can of its Spam.

    Cut the Spam into slices.

    Turn your stove onto Medium heat.

    Place a piece of Spam into the pan.

    Cook until golden brown in color on both sides (About 5 minutes).

    Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for the second piece of Spam.

    Put both pieces of Spam onto one slice of bread, so that they are laying side-by-side.

    Lay the slice of cheese on top of the Spam.

    Optional: Put your spread[s] of choice on the second slice of bread.

    Put the second slice of bread on top of the other half of your sandwich. random

    Eat and enjoy!


  • You can use the remaining Spam you have to make additional sandwiches, or just store them in a container.
  • If you want, you can toast the bread to make it a toasted Spam and Cheese sandwich.


  • Be careful when opening the can of Spam, the edges will be sharp.
  • A hot sandwich can burn your hands and/or mouth, let the sandwich cool off before eating.
