How to Make a Simple Meat Loaf

Using pantry ingredients you can have a tasty meat loaf mixed up and ready-to-go in short order. This recipe was originally in a 1970s vintage cookbook.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup packaged herb seasoned stuffing
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg

    Preheat oven to 350 °F (177 °C).

    Spray a shallow baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

    Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl.

    Combine all the ingredients thoroughly. You can use your clean hands to mix up the meat loaf or use a a heavy-duty stand mixer such as a KitchenAid to do this.
