How to Make a Password Protected Computer Diary

Method 1
Using Open Office

    First, download Open Office 2.2.

    Make a new folder. Name it something boring. Like Math Assignments.

    Open Open Office 2.2 and create your cover or first page. Select the color (optional), font and write whatever you want.

    When you save it, it should have the option of save with password. Click the box and then click save. A little box should appear saying Password: so and so and then a repeat of the password to make sure your passwords match.

    Chose your password wisely. Type it then push save.

    When ever you open the page you want it is blank and asks for a password. Type your password in and voila!

Method 2
Tumblr Diary

    Create a Tumblr blog. You can do this from their main website for free.

    Protect that blog with a password. Simply access "settings", scroll down, and toggle on "password protect this blog".

    Set the password. Type in a good, easy-to-remember password.

    Start your diary! Start posting whatever you want in a secure, simple and easy way. You can go to your password protected Tumblr and read your diary by entering the password.

Tips

  • A crazy idea to keep it safer, is change the text to white and when ever someone cracks the code, they still can't see it! To read, just highlight it!
  • Make sure to make the password strong.
