Take 4 square pieces of cardboard box, each with a length of about 6 centimeter (2.4 in). If you want to make a bigger nightlight, use a card that is bigger.

Take 4 kitchen rolls, or any hollow cylindrical object. The rolls must be about twice as tall as the length of the card.

Make 2 slots on 2 sides of the roll, in such a way that the cardboard box card can fit into them, in order to make a square. When making the slots, remember to leave space of 0.2 centimeter (0.1 in) from the bottom.

Insert the pieces of cardboard box card into the slots, so that you get the shape of a castle, with the rolls as turrets.

To make the roofs of the turrets, take a small semicircle of card, and fold it, so as to get the shape of a cone.
