How to Make a Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

Make practical and decorative use of a mason jar by transforming it into a soap dispenser. It's a fun little project, and the end result is way better than having those conventional soap bottles in your bathroom.

Steps

    Find an old liquid soap container.

    Disassemble the soap container and set aside the pump.

    Get your mason jar and remove the lid. Create a hole with a diameter in the center as same as the size of the pump's base.

    Insert the pump components through the hole.

    Assemble the pump.

    Test the fit of the lid on the jar.

Warnings

  • Be careful in drilling or cutting the hole on the lid as the can is very sharp. Use sandpaper to make the edges smoother.
