How to Make a Doll Using Dish Towels

    Gather all of the supplies before starting.

    Take the towel and fold it in half.

    Place a rubber band three inches from the fold. Wind it around tightly. This makes the head.

    Choose the body length. What style would you prefer?:
    • Long with short legs
    • Short with long legs

    Place a rubber band to the length at which you want the body. Wind around tightly. The body is now formed.

    Place a rubber band one inch or so from the bottom of the body and head sections. Wind around tightly. This creates the feet.

    Decorate the facial features. Sew on buttons for eyes, or use fabric markers to make facial features. Sew or glue on yarn for hair. Add clothes if wished. Name your new creation and it's ready to play with.
