How to Make a Christmas Count Down Craft (Kids)

Here is a very fun Christmas advent countdown that your kids will enjoy! They can create Santa on just a paper plate!

Steps

    Give each of your kids a clean paper plate.

    Have a bunch of colored pencils or crayons handy; but the main ones you'll need will be:
    • White

    • Skin color

    • Pink, for cheeks

    • and brown/blue/green, etc. (for eyes)

    For the younger kids under 5, you're going to need to draw on the face and let them color it. Make sure all the kids draw a face, a hat, jacket(optional), and make room for all the cotton balls.

    When the kids are done, hang the plates on an area easily accessible and able for all the kids to reach his/her own plate.

    Dab a dot of Elmer's Glue on a cotton ball or plate and let your child press on the cotton ball in the desired spot.

    Put on one cotton ball a day.

    Eventually, after 25 days, since you'll be starting this December 1st, your plates will get a beard by putting cotton balls all over the face.
