How to Make a Charm Wand

Here is a method for making a charm wand using jewelery charms. This is ideal for fairy parties, for display in a room decorated with fairy or magic themes, and for play. It can also be a fun way to display your favorite charms.

Steps

    Cover the wand stick in satin ribbon. Wrap it around the stick again and again until it meets the other end. Hot glue it into place.

    Cut out a star shape from the heavy card. Color and decorate the star as wished. Glitter, markers, sequins, etc. make great decorative elements.

    Attach the star to the wand stick. Use hot glue.

    Punch small holes into the star. Do at least one hole per star edge but you can add more, depending on how many charms you have.

    Attach the charms using small pieces of wire. Cut the wire, thread it through each charm and the star hole, then bring it together to form a closed circle.
