How to Make a Breakfast Casserole

This is perfect for a Sunday brunch or if you have a potluck and want to do something different.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread (cubed)
  • 2 cups (500 ml) of milk
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 pound (453 grams) of ground sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups (180 grams) of cheddar cheese (shredded)

    Spread the bread cubes evenly across the casserole dish's bottom.

    Cook the sausage on a medium heat until brownish in color. Cook until there is no red left on the meat. Dish out the sausage onto the bread cubes and spread it out evenly.

    Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the sausage pieces.

    Mix the eggs and milk together in a bowl and carefully pour the mixture into the casserole dish.

    Bake the casserole in the oven between 50 and 60 minutes at 350 degrees F, 180 degrees C, or on gas mark 4. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool.
