How to Make a 7 Up Cake

The 7-Up cake is an extremely moist cake with a pineapple and shredded coconut topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of lemon cake mix
  • 1 box of pineapple or lemon instant pudding
  • 1 12 ounce can of 7-Up
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil

Steps

    Preheat the oven to 350º.

    Pour the boxed lemon cake mix and the instant pudding mix into a large mixing bowl and add 4 eggs, 2/3 cup of vegetable oil, and 1 12 ounce can of 7-Up.

    Mix the ingredients together with an electric mixer or fork until it forms a smooth consistency.

    Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.

Tips

  • A lemon cake mix with “pudding in the mix” can be substituted for the lemon cake mix and the instant pudding.
