    Accept that there are certain things that need to be taken care of every day. This includes activities such as brushing your teeth, going to work/school, and paying bills. You can make doing these things more interesting, or different, in order to inject more excitement into the daily routine. For example:
    • If you brush your teeth with your right hand, try brushing with your left hand instead.
    • Make the 1st or 15th or 30th of every month bill paying day and the rest of the days, you don't really have to think about it, at all!

    Look at life differently. Think of everything you have in life and just be thankful for them. Every morning or night, write down at least three things you are grateful for; it will make you feel better.

    Set up some time for yourself every day as "Me Time" to have a cup of coffee or just relax and enjoy. You work and play hard every day, you can use some down-time.

    Do something nice for one person every day. Doing something for someone else also improves our day because it makes us feel good and puts a smile on our face. It does not have to be something big: hug a friend, say thank you, open the door for someone with many bags, keep the elevator held for someone rushing to catch it, for some examples.


  • Listen to new music. Discover other genres of music. Listen to what you usually don't listen to. You might be surprised of what you REALLY like. Have fun.
  • Take it one day at a time, because change takes time and habits are hard to break.
