How to Install Navi–X

Navi-X is an add-on program for XBMC / Kodi that allows you to stream movies, television shows, and live broadcasts from your computer or wireless device. To use Navi-X, you must first install XBMC / Kodi, then download and integrate Navi-X with XBMC as an add-on.

Part 1
Installing XBMC / Kodi

    Navigate to Kodi’s official website at http://kodi.tv/download/.
    • If you already have XBMC / Kodi installed on your device, skip to Part Two of this article to install Navi-X.

    Click on the installer link next to the device on which you plan on using XBMC. A downloads dialog prompt will display on-screen.

    Select the option to install XBMC, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation. The steps involved in the installation process will vary depending on the type of device you’re using.[1]

    Restart your computer or device after installation of XBMC / Kodi is complete. Your device will now be ready for the installation of the Navi-X add-on program.

Part 2
Installing Navi-X

    Navigate to the following web page on Google’s domain: https://code.google.com/p/navi-x/downloads/list. This page contains a list of the latest versions of Navi-X for XBMC.

    Click on the latest version or release of Navi-X at the top of the list, then click on the .zip file link.

    Select the option to download and save the .zip file to your computer or device.
    • Do not unzip the contents of the Navi-X .zip file. XBMC requires the Navi-X .zip file in its entirety for the add-on to work efficiently.

    Launch XBMC / Kodi on your device or computer.

    Select “System,” then select “Add-ons.

    Select “Install from zip file,” then navigate to where you saved the zip file on your computer or device.

    Select the Navi-X .zip file, then select “OK. The message, “Navi-X add-on enabled” will display on-screen, and the add-on will be available in the Programs folder within XBMC.[2]
    • If you have Fusion for XBMC installed on your device, Navi-X may be located under Programs in the Fusion folder.[3]
