How to Host a Pink Sparkle Party

Is pink your favourite colour? Do you love bling and sparkles? If you do, then why not have a girly, sparkly, pink party?

    Buy or make the invitations. You'll want your invitations to be glittery, girly, and fabulous. Add some silver sparkles or rhinestones to the invitation if you don't think that it's glittery enough. If you don't want to spend money on invitations, send out free invitations using websites such as Evite, or via e-mail.

    Stock up on pink. Go to a nearby dollar store or discount store and look around for pink items. Buy anything in reach that's pink. Also, look for sparkly things such as metallic confetti, small disco balls, etc. to add some sparkle to your party. Remember to buy the party essentials such as pink tablecloths, paper plates, cups, plastic cutlery, streamers, etc.

    Decorate the party room. Decorate the room where your party will be hosted with pink Christmas lights, fairy lights, pink streamers, and pink balloons. Put a pink tablecloth on a table and scatter some sparkly confetti all over the tablecloth. Buy some pink candles or centerpieces of some sort and add them to the table as well. Put out all of the pink plates, cups, forks, etc. on the table as well. Buy some pink fabric and have a "pink carpet" (like the Red Carpet in Hollywood) leading into the party from the entrance. You could also buy some metallic/shiny pink fabric and drape it over the walls and windows to add a glamorous pink touch to the room.

    Create some stations. Divide the room up into a few different stations so that your guests will never get bored at your party. Print signs for each station of your party (for example, "Snacks", "Nail Bar", etc.) from your computer in pink font and glue them overtop of pink paper. Decorate them with glitter and rhinestones to add some sparkle.

    Make or buy some pink food. Have a pink buffet filled with pink food such as watermelon, cupcakes/cake with pink icing, pink cookies, strawberry ice cream, pink M&Ms, pink candy, pink marshmallows, pink wafers, etc. To drink, serve pink lemonade.

    Have a pink fashion show. Buy some pink clothing such as feather boas, sunglasses, cowboy hats, and bandanas, then have your guests dress up in their pink attire. You could also give them sparkly necklaces to wear to add some bling to their outfits. Have a pink fashion show and take pictures of all of your guests in their pink outfits.

    Have pink sparkle makeovers. Consider doing makeovers while keeping the pink theme intact. Buy a few shades of pink nail polish, including sparkly pink nail polish.Look at the article, How to do pink Fairy Nails. Find pink lipstick, eyeshadow, and body glitter for this station. You could also buy or make pink facial cream and give each other facials.

    Play some pink games. Put up a poster of your favourite male celebrity and buy some bright pink lipstick. Each person applies the pink lipstick, then is blindfolded. Each person goes up and kisses the poster, trying to get the closest to the celebrity's lips. The person who gets the closest to the lips wins!


  • If you would like, ask your guests to wear pink clothing or to bring pink pajamas if you're having a sleepover.
  • Buy pink fake extensions for your hair!
  • Find some girly chick flicks to watch at your party
  • Listen to some music by the singer P!nk.
  • Makeovers should be done under parental notification and supervision if under age twelve.
  • Ask your friends if they're allergic to red dye before setting up.
