How to Give Yourself a Christmasy Makeup Look

Christmas is truly one of the best times of the year, and it is wonderful to look good for it! Even if you don't celebrate it, this tutorial is still good for the winter.

Steps

    Do your face. Using a foundation that is your color, sponge this lightly in your T- zone to eliminate shine. Set it with pressed powder, or a loose translucent one.

    Remove imperfections. To counteract dark circles use an opaque, yellow-toned concealer. For blemishes, a green-tone.

    Prime your eyelids. This step is easy, just purchase a quality primer to ensure you shadows stay on all night.

    For a Base shadow, use a light golden shadow or pigment, sweep this over your lid.

    Add a Crease color. Using an angled crease brush sweep a blue color that goes with the gold in your crease line and outer corner. Blend up slightly.

    Add the Contour color. Using a purple that corresponds nicely with the previous colors, use a slightly small angled crease brush, and repeat the same steps and before.

    Blend, blend, blend! This step is key. Using a small, rounded fluffy brush, blend the contour and crease colors together.

    Highlight color. Using a very light, shimmery pink, highlight the brow bone and tear duct with this.

    Line your upper lashline with liquid liner and wing outward. Line your waterline. Mascara. Yay1

    Back to the face! Sweep blush over your cheeks. You can also contour with bronzer, although that is not really needed.

    Finish off with nude lipstick and a slight wine color lip gloss!

  • You can use different colors than listed here, just check with an artists' wheel of colors that they match and are complementary.
  • Keep it family- friendly!
  • It doesn't matter is you use high-end products, or drugstore, because for the most part they work the same.
