When you are ready to go to school make sure you always eat a good breakfast so that way when you are in class you don't end up always asking when lunch is.

Go to bed early, not past 10:00-10:30. That way you'll be able to pay better attention to the teacher and not fall asleep in class, which is a surefire way to get a bad grade.

On the night before the test, get to sleep between 9:00 to 9:45. In the morning, eat a big breakfast (one including a protein like bacon, a carbohydrate like cereal, a fruit like oranges, and a dairy such as milk). On your way to school, look over the notes you took. If you took proper notes, you should get at least a B. Or, eat breakfast at school; they usually have a balanced breakfast program.

Get on your teacher's good side. On the first day, be very kind to them. Be attentive and participatory. This way, if you receive a 92.6% (B) or 89% she might give you a 93.0%(A) or 90. If you get a bad grade, ask if your teacher could help you after school or during their planning period. In addition, raise your hand a lot. Teachers love this.

Turn in all your assignments on time. Not only will this help your grades by not being late, it also shows your teachers that you are a responsible student. Also, do all your homework/projects and turn them in on time as well. Late work gets late credit, which is usually less. Always feel free to do extra credit.

    Don't plagiarize.

  • Have a routine. Set up a space and a time where you can study and do your homework each day. Get a good light and a comfy chair (but not too comfy)
  • An A and B average is hard to make but if u put your mind to it and do it work than its easy as pie, literally.
  • Always ask questions if you are confused. There is no reason why you should fail a test over a misunderstanding.
  • Always be curious. It doesn't mean you're stupid or anything but a lot of smart people do it.
  • If you are on a sports team, then remember that you need a C or above to participate in sports activities (depending on the school's rules). This will motivate you to try harder in obtaining and maintaining an A or B average.
  • Don't be a person that has no life and sit and study, go loose sometimes but not too loose.
  • Have a dictionary and thesaurus on hand. They come in handy.
  • Increase study time and decrease the time you take playing on video games or watching the TV. During exam time, try to cut out video games and TV completely if you can!

  • Don't freak out if you don't get an A or B. People mess up. If you get A's and B's and then a D on tests, just try to get an extra A so you can bring up that grade.
  • Overnight study sessions actually make you more likely to fail a test than just reading over something before you go to bed.
  • It doesn't matter if you don't get an A or B, because many people like to boast and make you feel bad, then anxiety comes in.
