How to Find Female Role Models

Throughout history, there have been many outstanding people who have accomplished much, contributing to the betterment of other people's lives. Often though, when we think of such people, we usually cite men. However, there are many inspirational women who also stand out in history.

    Think of a particular field and think of women who have contributed to that field.

    If the field you think of is motherhood, there have been many great mothers out there. These women have shown love & support to their children. The greatest examples include Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. Another example is Jeanne White, the mother of AIDS victim Ryan White.

    If you are thinking of political leaders, you may like to draw inspiration from Margaret Thatcher, or perhaps even Benazir Bhutto.

    Helen Keller is a prime example of someone who overcame serious disabilities. Her teacher, Anne Sullivan was also an inspirational teacher. Susan Boyle is another example of someone who overcame much difficulties in her life to achieve success.
