How to Enable the OpenDyslexic Font on Wikipedia

OpenDyslexic is a computer font designed to be easier to read for people with dyslexia. Wikipedia allows you to change the font used to display it's articles and this is how you do it.

Steps

    Go to the Wikipedia main page (or any page with a sidebar).

    Scroll down until you see cog next to the "Language"-section in the sidebar.

    Click on the cog to open the "Language settings"-menu.

    On the right side of the menu, click the button labeled "Fonts" to enter the "Font settings"-section.

    Check the "Download fonts when needed"-checkbox. This will show a drop down menu.

    Open the drop down menu by clicking it.

    Select the OpenDyslexic item. The font will now change.

    Click "Apply settings".

    ...and you're done! Go read some articles.

Tips

  • If you're a fan of the OpenDyslexic font, you can download it from their website. This is not necessary to get the font on Wikipedia.
