How to Embed More Than One Video in a wikiHow Article
wikiHow has a tool that allows you to find and embed a video in any article, and that tool is described in How to Embed a Video on wikiHow, but you can also embed more than one video, if the article should call for it.
Steps
- 1Find the video you want to embed on YouTube. Make sure it's consistent with wikiHow's video guidelines. Look at the URL. There should be a code that's 11 characters long. Copy it.
- 2Insert this code wherever you want to insert the video: <center>{{#ev:youtube|XXXXXXXXXXX}}</center>
- 3Replace XXXXXXXXXXX with the code from the video.
- 4Add a description (optional): Replace the word "DESCRIPTION" with one or two sentences explaining how the video relates to the article. Right before the description, add <br><br> (line breaks) so that the description shows up below the video, not next to it. <center>{{#ev:youtube|XXXXXXXXXXX}}<br><br>DESCRIPTION</center>
- 5Preview the article to make sure the placement of the video looks right.
Tips
- It's a good idea to use the "embed video" tool first, then use these steps for additional videos.
