Jackie Chan uses no stunt doubles and when he does a stunt, he really does it. As a result, he broke just about every bone in his body. But, you can be him without having broken bones or bad bruises.

    Train in as much dancing, martial arts, and acrobatics as you can. Jackie trained vigorously from a young age. All of these skills will help with your balance, coordination, and reflexes, all of which help Jackie achieve his stunts.

    Think. What is the stunt that you want to pull off? Is it a Jackie Chan stunt, or is it one of your own? Make sure that you will not get hurt in any way possible.

    After you have thought about it, plan it out on a piece of paper. How will you start? How will you finish? Those questions will be answered as soon as the stunt begins.

    Ask someone who isn't you to help you with the stunt and to get you prepared. You might have to take gymnastics class and practice walking on balance beams, flips, and bars. Go to a fitness camp. Any way that you can get prepared for the stunt.

    When you think you are ready, pull it off.

Tips

  • Backflips are hard to do and can result in broken backs. To prevent this, do a backflip far away from the wall, doors, or any other objects in the room.
