How to Do a Rock to Fakie/Board Stall on a Skateboard (Vert)

The rock to fakie is the first trick you need to learn on the half pipe, the board stall being a more advanced version of this.

    Drop in from the half pipe. If you can't, don't worry just get some speed at the bottom and pump.

    Try to keep the board at a decent speed but don't pump too hard after you drop in.

    Center your weight. As your trucks hit the coping center your weight

    Keep centered. As you go down keep your center of gravity very slightly over the back of the board.

    for a board stall follow step 1 of the rock to fakie and then these

    Go quite fast (this means pumping at the bottom of the HP).

    As your trucks hit the coping, let them go over until the the middle of your deck is over the coping.

    Rock the front slightly forward and then follow step 4 of the rock to fakie.
