We've all been there, whether it's just that little algebra problem you didn't understand last night or a major project that accounts for 50% of your grade that you forgot about. Method 1
General Approach

Slowly slide the page that you want to work on halfway out from under the page that you are supposed to be working on.

Write with your hand towards the desk, but look like you are working very intently.

Make sure you are not working too intently, or else your teacher will walk by and realize you are working on something you aren't supposed to be working on.
  5. 5
If your teacher walks by, softly move the page that you are supposed to be working on over the page that you are working on. Be subtle. If you shuffle many pages and move really awkwardly at the same time, your teacher will start to catch on.

In all honesty, don't force yourself to have such an experience. Is it really worth it? For the one off time, don't make it a regular habit. It's embarrassing and both stressful.

Tips

  • Work silently. No point in getting caught for being loud.
  • Try to do this when the teacher gives you time to read an assignment and answer some questions or something close to it. Usually at this time they don't want to deal with you and aren't paying attention to you
  • If the teacher is getting suspicious, look at the work you are meant to be doing and pretend to be reading it as if you are really concentrating. Tilt your head sideways, move close to the paper you are supposed to be reading or even whisper to yourself the words you are reading. This way, the teacher will be more interested in what you are reading rather than you doing your homework.
  • If you need a textbook to do your homework, you can put it in your lap if you are at an angle where the teacher can't see you.
  • If you plan on doing this frequently, ask the teacher to move you to the back of the classroom or sit in the back of the classroom if you don't have assigned seats.
  • If you are doing this while you have to write something down from the board, look up from time to time so that your teacher doesn't become suspicious.

Warnings

  • Don't do this too often in the same class because, no matter how oblivious you think your teachers are, they're really not.
  • Teachers like to gossip. If they find you doing another teacher's set homework in their class, they would spread the word. And, although the teacher would not confront you about what they have heard, they may develop a hard grudge against you for something so small.

Things You'll Need

  • A pen, pencil, or some other acceptable writing utensil
  • Homework you forgot to do or haven't bothered to do.
