How to Design a Blog Graphic Using Canva

Click the 'Layouts' tab and choose a layout that you like.

Drag the layout that you like on to your page. It will snap automatically in place.

Search for images to put in your design. As you can see, there are free and paid images on the library. Roll you mouse over the images to see the prices, there are thousands of images that are free.

• If you choose a Premium image, it costs $1 when you Publish your design. It will not cost you anything until you publish the image, so you can use as many images as you'd like.
  

Change the background. Click on the backgrounds tab, select a background and change the color.

Change the color of the elements. To change the color of your elements, click on the text holder, click the little circle and click the add button.

• You can also choose to edit your images by clicking 'More'. You have some options to edit (saturation, blur, contrast, etc.)
  

Publish your design. Click ‘Link and Publish’ in the top right of my screen. This is also the place where you can get a link to share on Twitter, or to share with colleagues who you want to collaborate with on the design.

Complete your design. Pay for the Premium image(s) that you have used in your design. You can choose to pay $1 or buy credits in bulk so you can get a discount.

• You don’t have to edit your credit card details if you have purchased using Canva before, but if this was your first purchase, you will need to entered them.
  
• Click ‘Confirm Payment’ and download your design without any watermarks. The license that you purchased enables me to use your design for commercial or personal use. If you want to make any changes to my design and re-download it, you can do it for free within 24 hours.
