How to Create a Mobile Study Area

Having a designated space in which to do your studies and work in is a good way of building a routine and consistently accomplishing your strongest work. But when you travel or go outdoors, it can be difficult to establish the same routine. A mobile study area, however, is a great way to get around this.

  1. 1
Acquire a large, rolling file cabinet.
  2. 2
    Divide subjects into hanging files.
  3. 3
    Organize your files by:

    • Study guides.
    • Work to be accomplished.
    • Work completed.
    • Extra lined or graphed paper.
  4. 4
    Acquire different-sized bags or containers.

    • Use small or medium-sizes to carry supplies.
    • Use a large tote bag with pockets to carry supplies, files, snacks, etc.
  5. 5
Use a mobile study area in different ways.

    • Store the tote bag in the rolling file cabinet, whether it is full or empty.
    • Roll the file cabinet from room to room.
    • Carry the tote bag to a different room, outdoors or when you travel.
