How to Create a Child's Sleepover Goody Bag
Are you from 6-11 and holding a sleepover for a friend at your place? If so follow these instructions and you can make a goody bag that makes a GREAT entrance gift!
Steps
- 1Find a cute bag! It needs to fit the theme of your sleepover. Tomboys might like darker ones whilst girly girls will enjoy pink and fluffy theme.
- 2Get your parents to buy some sweets. All kids and tweens love sweets; especially Smarties, and Skittles are popular.
- 3Fill your bag with 3-4 candy items. Also, if you so wish, buy some of those mini goody bag toys. If you want something special why not put in objects like jewelry (Claire's is inexpensive) or voodoo dolls/worry dolls.
- 4Tie up the handle with a nice ribbon or strip of string (only nice one will do!) Then grab a blue/pink/black marker and write your friend's name on the front in big thick letters (capitals!)
- 5If you have a little table by the front door, put the goody bag on there. Then, as your guest/guests enter, you can give them one!
- 6There you have it. Now you and your friend/s can enjoy its contents. (Don't forget the cake!)
Tips
- Plan a theme. You can then make the WHOLE sleepover (movies, bedding etc.) based on your theme.
- A good idea for a theme is: cars, princess perfect, Halloween, birthday or a favourite character (Hello Kitty, Sponge Bob etc.)
Warnings
- Pay attention to your friends allergies.
