Pairing a Jambox to your Mac will surely enhance your audio experience. You will be able to hear your music and movies with clear and high-quality audio. The best part of using a Jambox is you can bring it anywhere with you. Unlike big and bulky speakers, Jambox can be enjoyed wherever you are. Before you get started with anything though, you must first pair the Jambox with the Mac.

Part 1
Turning on Bluetooth for Mac

    Go to System Preferences. Click the "System Preferences" icon located on the dock. If it is not there, click the Apple icon at the top-left corner and select “System Preferences.”

    Select the Bluetooth icon under the Internet & Wireless section.
  3. 3
    Turn on Bluetooth. Click the check box beside “On.” Do not close the Bluetooth window.

Part 2
Putting the Jambox on Pairing Mode

    Turn on the Jambox. Press the Power button on the Jambox to turn it on.

    Put the Jambox on pairing mode. Press and hold the "Pairing" button. An LED light should flash red and white. The Jambox should also announce that it is in pairing mode.

Part 3
Pairing the Jambox to the Mac

    From the Bluetooth window, click the "plus sign" on the bottom-left corner. A Bluetooth menu will pop up.

    Select the Jambox in the pop-up window. You will see that the Jambox has been detected by the Mac. Click the Jambox.

    Click “Continue. The Mac will attempt to pair with the Jambox. It will notify you if the connection has been made.

    Use Jambox. Click the Bluetooth icon on the top-right section of the navigation bar. Select the Jambox device and then click “Use as Audio Device.”
