How to Connect an Apple Mac Mini to an HDTV

Steps
- 1Obtain an HDMI cable. All new HDTVs have an HDMI port. Mac Minis made in 2010 or later have an HDMI port.
- 2Connect the HDMI cable. Be sure to connect it to both ports!
- 3Turn on your TV
- 4Select the input to HDMI. If you have multiple HDMIs, then you should select the the option matching the port you plugged the cable into.
- There you have it! You have your Mac Mini on TV!
Tips
- If you have a pre-2010 model, these steps will not work. You will need to purchase a DVI cable or an adapter for a VGA cable. These interfaces do not support audio, so you need to purchase a speaker.
