How to Combo Run out on a Skateboard

So you want to know how to continue a combo by getting off your skateboard? Well you've come to the right place. Combo run outs are usually used for three things, a) as a form of bailing without actually stopping a combo or b) During street skating their might be a small patch of rough road impossible to get over just by riding, and c) just to get off your board. Of course there are several other uses for it, just use your imagination.

Steps

    Begin moving at a moderate speed.

    Crouch down. No, not as if you're going to ollie; crouch down lower.

    Grab your board in the middle with one hand.

    Lean back a little, not enough that your tail hits the ground, or even enough that your front wheels leave the ground.

    Tighten your grip on the board.

    Pull the board out from under you. Combo run outs only last about 7 seconds MAX before it's considered the end of your combo.

    Get back on your board by doing a Caveman.

Tips

  • Don't forget this is not an important trick, don't put a lot of focus into doing this.
  • For a beginner version, get the board up in to a manual, and pull the board out from under you while jumping off.
  • This is not a particularly difficult trick, it should be mastered in a few tries, if not keep trying.
  • Make sure you are comfortable on your skateboard.
