How to Clean Your Work Desk

Feel like you can't work because of your papers, notes, and books getting in the way? This article will help you get organised!

Steps

    Find a flat surface and place everything on your desk over to the surface.

    Put the papers you don't need in the garbage receptacle, and organize the papers you need into nice straight stacks.

    Get all notebooks, books etc. and organize them into nice stacks, and place them right by where the papers are.

    If you have knick - knacks or anything else, if its dirty clean it off and place it nicely by the papers and books.

    Put all your pens, markers, pencils etc., in a container or cup

    Clean off the surface of the desk, and you are done!

Tips

  • Sharpen all the pencils you have nice and sharp, and that they have a good eraser. You want to know you will pull out a pencil you are satisfied with.
  • If you can, leave your paper in a little container, so it looks more organized.
  • Leave a sticky note that labels each book or notebook you pull out. You will have an easier time knowing what you pull out, and it won't make a mess.

Warnings

  • DO NOT put magnets on your computer.
  • Never spray cleaner on your skin, or any other places except the desk.
  • DO NOT put sharp knick knacks or glass things. What if the pencil holder falls on it, or you knock it over? Try to put very little knickknacks or pictures.
  • Avoid getting paper-cuts.
