How to Calculate Exchange Rate with Spotlight Search

Are you wondering what 10 USD converts to in Euros, Pounds, or another currency? Mac OS X Yosemite introduced a new feature in Spotlight to easily do this.

Steps

    Open Spotlight Search. You can do this by either clicking on its icon in the top right corner of the menu bar, or by pressing the shortcut ⌘ Cmd+Space.

    Type in the amount you'd like to convert plus the currency (USD, Canadian Dollar, Euro, Pound, etc), followed by to X. X being the currency you want to convert it to.

    It will show the amount converted to the one you requested and also converted into a few more popular currencies below it.
