How to Bake Eggless Chocolate Strawberry Cake in a Mug

  • 1 teaspoon wholewheat flour, heaped
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 small pinch salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons (approximately) hot water
  • ¼ teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry jam
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

    In a microwave safe mug, mix together the dry ingredients, namely the wholewheat flour, sugar, salt, baking powder. Mix well using a fork. Mix until there are no lumps.

    Add white vinegar, vegetable oil, strawberry jam, vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of hot water. Mix well using the fork till you do not see any dry ingredients.

    If the batter is very thick and difficult to mix, then add 1 to 2 teaspoons of hot water. Mix well.

    Place the mug in the microwave. Cook at high for 30 seconds first.
