How to Automatically Add Articles You've Adjusted to Your wikiHow Watchlist

Most people are familiar with writing articles, or editing articles, but not too many realize that you can later watch these articles. When you tend to want to watch them after editing them (or creating them), it's sometimes wanted that you watch them from the get-go. Tips

  • If you tend to have a long list of pages in your Watchlist, be sure to clear out the list every few weeks.
  • None of the options are turned on by default upon account creation. You'll need to set them all up manually.
  • You'll find your Watchlist where you'll see all the edits that have been made to your articles you're watching here.

Warnings

  • Realize that even the articles that you edit in any of the Community Dashboard will appear as watched. This may cause an overabundance of articles watched, which may tend to clog up your Watchlist. Most people tend to watch just the article's they've created, but the choice is up to you.
  • When creating pages in user-space and image pages, you'll also be automatically marking those pages as watched, when you click the Add pages I create to my watchlist" option. Even those pages you are able to manually redirect, will be watched.
